SUMMARY:Ride the State
DESCRIPTION:The East Coast Greenway Alliance with Farmington Valley Trails Council\, and the Farmington Canal Rail to Trail Association are teaming up to host a 56-mile bike ride from New Haven\, Connecticut\, to Southwick\, Massachusetts\, showcasing the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail\, while highlighting its remaining gaps\, on Saturday\, June 24\, 2023.  The majority of the ride is on the completed\, flat trail system. The ride passes through eleven Connecticut towns before it reaches Southwick\, Massachusetts.  There will be two rest stops\, SAG support and a police escort on the RT 10 on-road gap.
