SUMMARY:April Walking Club: Lynn Deming Park
DESCRIPTION:Come and join us as we support the Housatonic Valley Health District’s multi-town\, adult Walking Challenge for the month of April. It’s super easy. Just register at Every Step Counts Sign Up\, then stop by their office at 10 Main Street in New Milford (Town Hall) during business hours to pick up your free pedometer. \n\n\n\nNew Milford River Trail Association is organizing several meetups throughout the month of April to make it fun and provide encouragement and support. There is no fee or commitment to join us. We request that you email us once a week (on Sundays to lisa@nmbikewalk.org)\, your tracked steps for the week to help keep you motivated. \n\n\n\nLynn Deming Park \n\n\n\nLynn Deming Park is located on scenic Candlewood Lake.  In April\, no park permit is required.  Enter the park and drive towards the right.  Park near the playground.  We will walk a loop that goes past the beach and marina and back to the playground area.  Don’t forget your pedometer and drinking water!
