DESCRIPTION:UPDATE: DUE TO FLOODING AT YOUNG’S FIELD- RIVERFEST WAS CANCELED FOR SUNDAY\, OCTOBER 1 \n\n\n\n\n\nJoin New Milford River Trail Association volunteer / board members at RiverFest for a nature walk along the Housatonic River. This Family Friendly one hour guided walk along the River Trail section of Young’s Field\, will cover wildlife highlights and history of the Housatonic River that runs through our town. Connectivity to the Native Meadows Nature Preserve\, Veteran’s Bridge and other greenway planning and features will be shared. \n\n\n\nNature walks depart from entry gate to the Riverfest. Please meet leaders there 5 minutes prior to guided walk time.  \n\n\n\n\nSept. 30 Saturday at 12 pm and 2 pm \n\n\n\n\n\nOct. 1 Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm
