Discover Olmstead Bicycle Tour 2022

2022 marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Frederick Law Olmsted, social reformer and founder of American landscape architecture. BWCT will join the National Association for Olmsted Parks, partners, friends and the public in exploring Olmsted’s living legacy. Olmsted was born in Harford and spent much of his youth in communities across CT. In addition to Central Park and others across the country, he designed CT parks like Walnut Hill (New Britain), Seaside Park (Bridgeport), and Keney Park (Hartford).
