CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER:CT Trails Day Scenic Group Bicycle Ride along the Housatonic River

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER. Celebrate CT Trails Day weekend! Meet at 201 Housatonic Ave. (MedInstill parking lot across from ball fields) in New Milford at 10:00 AM on Saturday June 7th. On the road by 10:15 AM following Boardman Rd. north to the scenic Housatonic River along River Rd., Riverview Rd., Station Rd., Brown’s Forge Rd., Long Mountain Road, South Kent Rd., with a stop for refreshments at Gaylordsville Store. Then return to parking area. (approx 12.8 miles). The route is moderate difficulty due to some gravel roads and hills. Protective gear recommended as well as water or other hydration means.
