Sunday, July 20, 2014 – NMRT President Tom O’Brien and his son Jake will begin a week-long ride from Burlington, VT to Norwalk, CT following the route of the proposed Western New England Greenway (www.wnegreenway.org). For the entire journey, they’ll be joined by 8 other bike-riders, each of whom is actively involved in the effort to create a safe bike route that follows the Route 7 corridor from the Long Island Sound to the Canadian Border.
The New Milford River Trail is a key link in this project. We’re delighted to lend our support for this ride.
